Piper L-18C (OH-PEP)

Piper L-18C on sotilasversio Piper PA-18 Super Cub -koneesta, joka jo nimenkin perusteella on edelleenkehitelmä Piper J3 Cub -koneesta. Kaksipaikkainen ja yksimoottorinen Piper PA-18 Super Cub esiteltiin vuonna 1949 ja sen tuotanto päättyi vuonna 1994. Konetta eri versioineen on rakennettu 15 000 kpl, joista 838 kpl sotilasversiota L-18C. Niistä vähintään 156 kpl Yhdysvaltain sotilasavustusohjelman puitteissa Eurooppaan ja muihin maihin.

OH-PDO rakennettiin Yhdysvalloissa vuonna 1953 L-18C-malliseksi tulenjohto- ja yhteyskoneeksi Belgian ilmavoimille. Kone on myöhemmin Piper PA-18-150 -tyypiksi.

Piper L-18C is a military version of Piper PA-18 Super Cub, which is a derivate of Piper J3 Cub. The two-seat single-engine prototype of the Piper PA-18 Super Cub introduced in 1949 and the production ended in 1994. The total production of the PA-18 series is about 15,000 aircraft. 838 of them were military version L-18C. At least 156 of them delivered to other nations than USA according to Major Defence Acquisition Program (MDAP).

OH-PDO was delivered as L-18C (observation and liaison aicraft) in USA in 1953 for the Belgium Air Force. Later aircraft was converted to Piper PA-18-150 standard.
