Suomen Ilmailumuseo juhlistaa 100-vuotiasta Suomea juhlalentonäytöksellä | Finnish Aviation Museum will celebrate 100th anniversary of Finland by airshow

Suomen Ilmailumuseon järjestää Helsingin edustalla 9.6.2017 kaikille avoimen ja ilmaisen lentonäytöksen, joka tuo esiin suomalaisen ilmailun historiaa ja tulevaisuutta.

Suomi 100 -juhlalentonäytös tuo näyttävän ilmailukavalkadin Helsingin edustalle. Lentonäytöksellä ja muilla Suomi lentää! -hankkeen tempauksilla museo juhlistaa Suomen itsenäisyyden satavuotisjuhlaa.

Näytöksen tapahtumapaikka on erityisen merkittävä Suomen ilmailuhistoriassa. Tapahtuma on saanut inspiraationsa itsenäisyyden alkuvuosien suosituista ilmailunäytöksistä, joissa tehtiin lentämistä tutuksi suurelle yleisölle. Katajanokka, Suomenlinna ja Kaivopuisto ovat toimineet ilmailun merkittävien tapahtumien näyttämönä itsenäisyytemme alkuvuosista aina 1970-luvulle saakka. Suomi 100 -juhlalentonäytös sitoo yhteen tätä ilmailun historiaa tulevaisuuteen esitellen ilmailun klassikoita ja nykypäivää.

Juhlalentonäytöksen ohjelmasta tiedotetaan loppuvuoden ja ensi kevään aikana.

The Finnish Aviation Museum will arrange in front of the Helsinki south coast on June 9th 2017 an airshow. The airshow will be open and free of charge and it will present the history and the future of the Finnish aviation.

Suomi 100 Airshow will introduce a splendid aviation cavalcade at front of the Helsinki City. By the airshow as well as by other campaigns of the Suomi lentää! project, the Finnish Aviation Museum will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of Finland.

The venue of the airshow is an extraordinary place in the aviation history of Finland. The airshow will be inspired by the airshows arranged almost one hundred years ago. Katajanokka, Suomenlinna and Kaivopuisto have acted as the scene of the airshows from the beginning of the national indepence until the 1970s. The Suomi 100 Airshow will bundle this aviation history to the future by presenting the aviation classics and modern aircraft.

The program of the airshow will published during the rest of the year 2016 and the spring of the year 2017.
