SZD-22C Mucha Standard

SZD-22 on puolalainen yksipaikkainen taitolentokelpoinen purjekone. Se kehitettiin Szybowcowy Zakład Doświadczalny -tehtaassa IS-2 Muchan ja SZD-12 Mucha 100:n pohjalta ja prototyyppi lensi ensilentonsa 10.2.1958. Kone oli pääosin puurakenteinen. SZD-22C -mallissa siiven pinta oli vanerin sijasta kangasta. Konetta rakennettiin 288, joista merkittävä osa mallia SZD-22C. Konetta vietiin useisiin maihin.

Porin Ilmailukerho hankki OH-258:n vuonna 1962. Kone poistettiin rekisteristä vuonna 1989 ja lahjoitettiin Suomen Ilmavoimamuseoon.

The SZD-22 is Polish single-seat aerobatic sailplane. It was developed by using the IS-2 Mucha and the SZD-12 Mucha 100 as a basis in the Szybowcowy Zakład Doświadczalny (Glider Experimental Workshop). The prototype flew firsti time on February 10th 1958. The aircraft has mostly wooden structure. However, in the model SZD-CC the wing surface was fabric instead of plywood. The total production number was 288. Most of them were SZD-22Cs. The aircraft was exported to several countries.

Porin Ilmailukerho acquired OH-258 in 1962. The aircraft was written off in 1989 and donated to the Finnish Air Force Museum.
