PIK-5b

PIK-5b on suomalainen, yksipaikkainen harjoituspurjekone, jonka suunnitteli diplomi-insinööri Kalle Temmes vuonna 1945. Kone pohjautuu puolalaiseen Salamandra-purjekoneeseen. Prototyyppi lensi ensilentonsa syyskuussa 1946. PIK-5:stä kehitettiin parannetut versiot PIK-5b ja PIK-5c. PIK-5-koneita rakennettiin 34 ja konetyyppi oli yleisin purjekonetyyppi Suomessa 1950-luvulla. Koneen lentoonlähtö voitiin tehdä sekä lentokone- että vintturihinauksella.

OH-PAR oli FK Cumuluksen käytössä 1950-1977.

PIK-5b is a Finnish single seat training sailplane designed by M.Sc. Kalle Temmes in 1945. He used Polish Salamandra sailplane as a basis of the design work. The prototype flew first time in September 1946. Enhanced versions PIK-5b and PIK-5c were derived from the original PIK-5. The total production number is 34. The PIK-5 was the most common sailplane in Finland during the 1950s. PIK-5 was launched either by aircraft or car towing or by winch.

OH-PAR was used by the flying club FK Cumulus of Helsinki in 1950-1977.
