Mil Mi-2

Mil Mi-2 suunniteltiin Mikhail Milin suunnittelutoimistossa ja lensi ensilentonsa 22.9.1961. Vuonna 1964 projekti siirrettiin Puolaan, jossa WSK Svednik rakensi kopteria vuodesta 1965 alkaen 5 497 kpl. Helikopteria käytettiin koulutukseen Neuvostoliiton ilmavoimissa ja taisteluhelikopterina Puolan ja Itä-Saksan ilmavoimissa.

Yksi Mil Mi-2 -helikopteri tuotiin Suomeen Neuvostoliiton romahduksen jälkeen. Helikopteri on maalattu punaiseksi ja mainostaa Ukkohallaa.

The design bureau of Mikhail Milin planned the Mil Mi-2. It flew first time on September 22nd 1961 in Soviet Union. The project transferred to Poland in 1965. WSK Svednik strated Mil-2 deliveries in 1965 and built 5,497 Mi-2s. The helicopter was used as a trainer in Soviet Union and as a helicopter gunship in the Polish and the East German air forces.

One Mil Mi-2 helicopter was brought from Russia to Finland after the collapse of Soviet Union. The helicopter has been painted in red and advertised Ukkohalla.
