Klemm Kl 25 (OH-ILI)

Klemm Kl 25 perustui Hans Klemmin suunnittelemaan Daimler L20 -koneeseen, joka lensi ensilentonsa vuonna 1924. Vuonna 1927 markkinoille tuli Hans Klemmin ja Robert Lusserin suunnittelema Klemm L25, josta kehitettiin mm. tehokkaammalla moottorilla varustettu Klemm Kl 25. Konetta valmistettiin vuosina 1928-1939 Saksassa noin 30 muunnoksena noin 600 kpl ja lisäksi lisenssillä Iso-Britanniassa ja Yhdysvalloissa noin 200 kpl. Suomeen Klemm Kl 25 -koneita tuotiin neljä.

OH-ILI rekisteröitiin Helsingin Ilmapuolustusyhdistykselle 16.3.1937. Kone on tyyppiä Klemm Kl 25 D VII ja sen valmistusnumero on 1129. Suomen Ilmavoimat pakko-otti koneen Talvisodan alla mutta palautti sen jo vuonna 1941. Kone tuhoutui vuonna 1947 mutta korjattiin lentokuntoon vuonna 1952. Kone oli useiden eri omistajien käytössä vuoteen 1972. Uusi omistaja palautti koneen lentokuntoiseksi vuonna 1974. Kone poistettiin rekisteristä vuonna 2005. Kone on nähty useassa ilmailunäyttelyssä rullauskuntoisena 2000-luvulla.

Klemm Kl 25 is based on Daimler L20 designed by Hans Klemm. L20 flew first time in 1924. Hans Klemm and Robert Lusser designed Klemm L25. It was introduced in 1927. The next variant was Klemm Kl 25 with more powerful engine. The aircraft was in production in 1928-1939 and the total production number was about 600 aircraft excluding about 200 aicraft produced in U.K. and U.S. under licence. Only four Klemm Kl 25s were imported to Finland.

OH-ILI was registered on March 16th 1937. Just before Winter War it was requisitioned to the Finnish Air Force. The aircraft was handed over back to owners i 1941. The aircraft damaged seriously in 1947 but repaired to airworthy condition in 1952. The aircraft flew by several owners until 1972. A new owner repaired aircraft to airworthy condition in 1974. The aircraft was deleted from the register in 2005. The aicraft has been seen in several airshows in taxing condition during the 2000s.
