Kamov Ka-26 (?)

Kamov Ka-26 on neuvostoliittolainen kevyt helikopteri. Koneessa on kaksi rungon ulkopuolelle sijoitettua 325 hevosvoiman tähtimoottoria, jotka pyörittävät kahta samalle akselille sijoitettua päällekkäistä roottoria. Rakenteen ansiosta erillistä peräroottoria ei tarvita. Kahden hengen ohjaamon lisäksi koneessa on vaihdettava hyötykuormatila, johon voitiin asentaa matkustamo, ambulanssihelikopterin varusteet tai pölytysvarusteet. Helikopterin prototyyppi lensi ensilentonsa 18.8.1965 ja tuotanto alkoi vuonna 1969. Kokonaistuotanto oli yli 800 helikopteria.

Oululaisen teollisuusyrityksen pihalla ollut Ka-26 on nykyään Revonlahdella huoltoaseman pihalla maalattuna huoltoasemaketjun väreihin.

Kamov Ka-26 is Soviet light helicopter. It has two 325 hp radial piston engines mounted to off-board nacelles and it has two co-axial rotors. None auxiliary rotor is needed. The cockpit is designed for a pilot and a co-pilot. Additionally, the helicopter has removable, variable box for either medevac, passenger-carrying or cropduster versions. The prototype flew first time on August 18th 1965 and the series production started in 1969. The total production was over 800 Ka-26s.

The helicopter has been seen at the yard of an industrial company in Oulu. Nowadays the helicopter is on the yard of a service station. The helicopter wears the colours of the service station chain.
